What's the difference between these brands?
Aside from their components, absolutely nothing. Schwinn, Mongoose, GT, Roadmaster, Dyno, Pacific, and even Cannondale are made by Dorel Industries of Taiwan. But, some of these products may have a sticker that says made in Taiwan, they're actually made in China. If you go on the "MadeinChina.com" website, you can actually find the subcontractor who builds the Cannondale frame. Basically, you can buy a Roadmaster at Walmart for under a $100 or buy a Cannondale at your LBS for over a $1000, you're basically getting the same frame. Maybe, even the same components if its not a major name. If it's made in Taiwan, it's probably made in China.

2010 Fuji Cross Comp
This is my cyclocross bike. It is also my only piece of furniture in my apartment. No TV, no table and chairs. I have my priorities. Bike first, whatever is second.
I bought this bike at PerformanceBikes in Richmond, VA for $799. It was on sale, the original price listed it at $1300; I couldn't pass it up. It's been a great bike so far. I ride everywhere with it. I commute to work, take shopping trips, trail rides, and on paths that I would have never imagined a road bike can go on. Yes, on the road, it is not as fast as your standard road bike. But, on a level dirt path, it is much faster than a MTB. Plus, it has screw holes in the forks that allow fenders and racks. When the time comes, it can be turned into a touring bicycle. For an all purpose bike, it's hard to beat a cyclocross.

Bikecrazy is born
I created this site because I'm crazy about bikes. I think about bicycles more than I think about sex. I feel that I need to share some of thoughts and feelings before I go absolutely insane.
